The official and verified Instagram account of Iron Maiden shared a photo of the poster of their upcoming tour, and they announced that the ‘European Legacy of The Beast Summer 2021 Tour’ postponed to 2022.

As you may remember, the ‘LOBT’ was meant to be made last year, and back in March 2020, the band announced that the Oceania, Download Festival, and The Philippines shows were canceled due to a coronavirus outbreak. Every other month, Iron Maiden had to cancel yet another show of the tour and at the end of the day, the whole tour was canceled and rescheduled to 2021.

While postponing the ‘Legacy Of The Beast Tour’ once again, Iron Maiden has also some good news for the fans. According to the official press release, the band will return to headlining the European festivals that were canceled due to pandemic in 2020. On the other hand, Iron Maiden is trying to put finishing touches on the other shows they will make on their own in Europe.

Here is what’s written in the caption of the post:

“We regret to announce that the 2021 June & July dates on the LOTB Tour have been postponed due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic restrictions on global live events and travel. The tour will now take place in summer 2022. All tickets remain valid.

The postponement of the tour does however bring the good news that we can now return to headlining the European festival dates initially planned for 2020 which were canceled due to the pandemic.

Furthermore, we are in the process of finalizing a further couple of own shows in other European territories and will update you about those as soon as they are confirmed. The Zurich and Frankfurt shows will have exclusive Iron Maiden Fan Club pre-sales next week.”
