As the date marked the 58th birthday of the founding member and the drummer of Mötley Crüe, Tommy Lee, nearly all of his bandmates celebrated him on social media. However, Mick Mars‘ silence drew a reaction.
As you know, the lead guitarist and co-founder of the band, Mick Mars, has been quite active on Twitter, as well as on Instagram for a while now. The great musician especially takes these platforms to wish a happy birthday to his beloved friends and praise the projects he admires.
While Tommy Lee is stepping into 58 this year, lots of his friends and bandmates have expressed their best wishes to him via Twitter or Instagram. The official accounts of the band have emphasized the uniqueness of Lee in the birthday messages.
The bassist, Nikki Sixx, has posted a special and hilarious photo of themselves on his own Instagram account and admitted that rock n roll is better because of Lee. The frontman of Mötley Crüe, Vince Neil, also joined the celebrations by a throwback picture on Twitter.
The only member, who didn’t convey his birthday message on his social media pages, became Mick Mars. He surprised the fans of the band with his indifference and it was noticed that he was active on Twitter on October 2.
Here’s what was said in the latest Instagram post of Mötley Crüe:
“When they invented the phrase ‘the one and only’ they were talking about this dude – Happy Birthday to the upside-down, roller-coaster riding, ass-kicking’ Tommy Lee. 🔥🎪🚬🙌🩲🎂”
