The ex-frontman of Van Halen and the current vocalist of The Circle, Sammy Hagar has shared a sneak peek from his band’s virtual cocktail party for the United Cardmembers and responded to a comment of his fan revealing he thinks the COVID-19 is a hoax.

As you may remember, through the end of June, Sammy Hagar has made a statement about the global pandemic, admitting that he would be comfortable enough to return to the stage before there’s a vaccine for the virus.

Hagar continued and said that he’d rather personally get sick and even die, if that’s what it takes. These radical words of the musician drew the reactions of some of his fans back then.

However, Sammy Hagar has shown with his recent answer to his fan that he still thinks the same way and, moreover, he believes the virus is only a hoax. Hagar has recently taken Instagram to share capture from his virtual meeting with his bandmates, Michael Anthony, and Vic Johnson, as well as his friend Rick Springfield.

Pointing out the fact that he didn’t meet with his friends in person and made an online event instead, a fan of Hagar asked in the comment section of the post if Sammy is falling for the COVID hoax. Sammy Hagar responded by saying he’s not and sided with the ones who claim that.

Here is what Sammy Hagar said in the caption of his latest Instagram post:

“Good times with United Cardmembers during our virtual cocktail party! Had a blast making some of my favorite rum drinks with Michael Anthony, singing some songs with Vic Johnson and getting party-crashed by my buddy Rick Springfield!”

A fan of Hagar, whose nickname is MJ Ranfone, said in the comments:

“Why are you falling for this Covid hoax?”

Sammy Hagar answered as:

Are you kidding me? I’m not.”
