Mötley Crüe’s iconic bassist Nikki Sixx responded to a fan’s question on Twitter wondering which band member posed for the album cover of ‘Too Fast for Love‘ and unveiled it was actually Vince Neil.
The legendary heavy metal band Mötley Crüe formed in 1981 by bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, lead guitarist Mick Mars and lead singer Vince Neil. Throughout their successful yet challenging career, the band achieved seven platinum or multi-platinum certification.
Mötley Crüe released their debut album, ‘Too Fast for Love‘ on November 10, 1981. Initially, the album reached number 77 on the Billboard 200 in the U.S., in 2017, it was ranked #22 on the list named ‘100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time‘ of Rolling Stone.
Recently on Twitter, a Mötley Crüe fan asked Nikki Sixx to clarify which band member posed for the album cover of ‘Too Fast For Love.’ The album’s cover presents the bottom half of a man in leather pants and making the sign of the horns with his right hand.

“Hey, Nikki Sixx I’ve always been curious, who exactly is it on the ‘Too Fast for Love2 album cover?”
However, it hasn’t been revealed who was on the first album cover of Mötley Crüe until now. As a response, Nikki Sixx revealed that the band’s frontman Vince Neil was the one who posed with his black leather pants and accessories for the cover of the iconic Mötley Crüe album, ‘Too Fast For Love.’
