British metal legend Judas Priest began working on a new studio album. This information was previously spoken by the band’s vocalist Rob Halford, but there was no confirmation from the group’s official social media accounts.

The latest update, the band just began working for a new album, that officially announced. Here’s the statement:

“The band are back into the studio working on the new album – they have a great team on board with long time JP producer Tom Allom, Andy Sneap and Mike Exeter – all very exciting!”

Andy Sneap, Tom Allom and Mike Exeter are on the team for the new album.  We know these people from their work with Megadeth, Opeth and Black Sabbath.

When the new album will be released is a complete mystery. We’ll wait and see.
