Metallica TV has shared a new video that shows the story behind how James Hetfield made his new guitar “Carl”.
The guitar made out of wood from Metallica’s 80′ home. James Hetfield has revealed he used the wood from this famous garage to build a new guitar.
Hetfield said:
“I was worried about him making it too clean, and that he did not [do]. There’s no splinters, but you feel the wood, you feel the grain. It’s almost like grooves in vinyl.”
