Back in September, Metallica announced that they had to cancel all their upcoming shows due to Metallica legend James Hetfield’s serious alcohol problems.

According to the latest rumors, James is still in a treatment program for his serious alcohol addiction.

While the Metallica family and James remain silent on social media, Metallica’s YouTube account uploaded the first-ever video featuring James Hetfield, after many months.

As the official YouTube account of Metallica indicates, that video was filmed at Palastzelt Maimarktgelände in Mannheim, Germany on August 25, 2019, just before James entered rehab.

A user named arandommusician commented on the video:

“Get well soon James
The Metallica family misses you 😭😭😭😭😭”

Another user, MrPyroTom wrote this:

“I’m glad they played this song again. One of the lesser-known songs from Hardwired, along with Am I Savage, Manunkind and Murder One.

They all sound amazing too! Rob sounds awesome, Kirk killed the solo, Lars is playing well and James sounds amazing! Anyway, the most important thing is that James gets better soon. You’ve done it before, you can do it again!”
