Led Zeppelin’s late drummer John Bonham‘s son, Jason Bonham, posted a photo of the band’s iconic manager Peter Grant to pay him tribute 25 years after his tragic death.
As you may know, the legendary drummer of Led Zeppelin, John Bonham, also known as Bonzo, sadly passed away on September 25, 1980, at the age of 32. After a heavy day of drinking at the rehearsals, Bonham was found unresponsive. His death was later announced to be caused by a shock from inhaling vomit with alcohol in his system.
His beloved son Jason Bonham often takes his social media accounts to honor his father and his legacy in Led Zeppelin’s music. Recently, Jason shared a picture of another late member of the Led Zeppelin family to honor him 25 years after his death.
As you will see in the post below, Jason Bonham posted the photo of Led Zeppelin’s iconic manager, Peter Grant, who was with the band from their creation in 1968 to their break up in 1980. Known as one of the ‘shrewdest and most ruthless managers in rock history,’ Grant was given credit for the unquestionable success of Led Zeppelin.

Additionally, the iconic drummer of Audioslave and Rage Against the Machine, Brad Wilk responded to Bonham’s Instagram post. In the comment section, Wilk mentioned that Peter was definitely a game-changer considering his achievements which helped Led Zeppelin to become one of the greatest bands of all time.
