The official Facebook page of Metallica shared the video of the famous actor Jason Momoa who received one of the first copies of Metallica’s S&M2 and showed his reaction of the historical album of the thrash metal legends.

As you may recall, Metallica released their live album, ‘S&M,’ with The San Fransisco Symphony more than 20 years ago which was recorded on April 21 and 22, 1999. In 2019, the band celebrated the 20th anniversary of the album with two concerts on September 6 and 8 at the Chase Center.

Following the huge success of the film of the concerts, named ‘S&M2,’ Metallica has been preparing to release their highly-anticipated project ‘Metallica And San Francisco Symphony: S&M2‘ boxset on August 28, 2020.

Recently, the thrash metal legends sent an early copy of the upcoming ‘S&M2’ boxset to the ‘Aquaman’ actor and diehard metalhead Jason Momoa. The official Facebook page of Metallica posted the video of Momoa showing his reaction to S&M2.

As you will see in the video below, Jason Momoa mentioned how excited he was to watch the historical work of Metallica along with his kids. Jason also asserted in the video that ‘If you’re a Jason Momoa fan, you’re a Metallica fan.’

On the caption of the video, Metallica members reacted:

“Wait a minute… Who sent an early copy of S&M2 to this dude??? Heads are gonna roll!💀😂 Glad you dig it, bro! We hope everyone out there digs it too!”
