Alice In Chains guitarists Jerry Cantrell remembered the legacy of the band’s late vocalist, Layne Staley, by sharing a new post on the official Instagram account and revealed how much he missed Layne.

Yesterday, it was the birthday of the legendary frontman, and he would have been 53 years old if he was still alive. However, Layne passed away on April 5, 2002, and left his precious legacy in this world.

Jerry showed his respect and paid his tribute to Laney by sharing an old family photo of the band members, and mourned Laney’s death once again. In this way, Jerry showed that Laney was a great vocalist and person that could not be forgotten.

Jerry’s post made everybody emotional and lots of fans shared their respects and prayers for the Alice In Chains family in the comment section. Also, they showed their support to Jerry on this tough day.
