Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has shared a never-before-seen photo of himself with legendary guitarist Jeff Beck and The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger.

He also revealed the story behind that photo as you can read here:

“On this day in 1986, I was invited to be part of the celebrations for Les Paul’s 72nd birthday, at the newly-opened Hard Rock Café in New York. Naturally there was a substantial amount of guitarists who wanted to celebrate Les’ birthday: Jeff Beck and Robby Krieger to name just two.

The evening began with Andy Williams singing ‘I Left My Heart in San Francisco’ – a truly memorable moment. I think most of the guitarists there that night played a number or two on the stage, I know I did, I was the first one on.

The love and respect for Les was, and still is, immeasurable amongst musicians and guitarists. We miss him a lot.”
