During a conversation with the YouTube channel of Heritage Auctions, blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa shared the details of selling a special piece from his huge guitar collection and selling his new song as NFT.

In the interview with Heritage Auctions, Joe stated that the winning bidder will get the non-fungible token of the record and also two iconic guitars Bonamassa used while recording the song: 1959 Gibson Les Paul and 1963 Fender Vibroverb.

While Joe claimed that buying that song is like owning a one-song record company, he also reminded that the buyer of the song named ‘Broken Records’ will have all publishing rights, a special tour of Bonamassa’s gear museum as well as four concert tickets and four Meet and Greet passes.

According to the official website of the auction, the opening bid is $350.000 and the auction will be ended on July 24, 2021.

Here is what Bonamassa said in the conversation:

“It’s basically like buying a one-song record company. If three people hear the song and that’s it, I’m still proud of the work. If it’s licensed for film or TV and everybody hears the song, even better.

But the fact of the matter is, I’m proud of the song whether three people hear it or 30 million hear it. It doesn’t matter. My approach would not have changed.”
