World-famous American blues-rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter, Joe Bonamassa has shared a new tweet after a very long time via his verified Twitter account and he joined the popular matter of recent days.
Everything stems from Billie Eilish’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last week when the talk show host quizzed the singer about things that were popular in 1984 when he was aged 17.
Jimmy Kimmel asked some old singers and groups, Billie had no problem in correctly identifying Madonna and another one, but Jimmy asked the name called Van Halen, and she didn’t say anything, she doesn’t know anything about Van Halen. Billie replied: ‘Who?
Eddie Van Halen’s beloved son and the famous member of Van Halen, Wolfgang Van Halen shared an answer message via his social media accounts and paid his respect to the famous star, Billie Eilish.
He responded to the latest video of Billie Eilish which goes viral on social media. As you might check out the video below, Eilish revealed she didn’t know who Van Halen is.
Here is what Wolf wrote:
“If you haven’t heard of @billieeilish, go check her out. She’s cool. If you haven’t heard of @VanHalen, go check them out. They’re cool too.
Music is supposed to bring us together, not divide us. Listen to what you want and don’t shame others for not knowing what you like.”
Yesterday, Eddie Trunk wrote a sincere statement about the event between Billie Eilish and Eddie Van Halen. Eddie Trunk agreed to Billie Eilish, and said that she just 17 years ago,
Here’s what Eddie Trunk wrote:
“I don’t get what the big deal is about @billieeilish not knowing @VanHalen is? She’s not a rock artist and she’s 17.. and VH has not exactly been all that active and out there the last 20 + years.
If she played rock and didn’t know I could almost get it.”
Today, Joe Bonamassa has written an answer tweet to Eddie Trunk’s tweet, but Joe Bonamassa has talked very different than Eddie Trunk. Joe Bonamassa said that a singer if she will doing this job, needs to know a lot of style songs.
Here’s the statement of Joe Bonamassa:
“I get it too Eddie. But part of being a total musician is embracing all music and diving down the musical rabbit holes.
I’ve listened to BB King to EVH to Frank Sinatra and back. I was 17 too but I knew Ron Wood played bass with the Jeff Beck Group.”
