Rob Zombie guitarist John 5 shared a post on his official Instagram page revealing an unseen backstage picture of late Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth while they were enjoying a cigarette back in 2008.
As you may remember, after his son Wolfgang Van Halen announced the death of the iconic guitarist, Eddie Van Halen due to throat cancer nearly two months ago, fans and musicians from all around the world bid farewell to Eddie by sharing their favorite memories of the guitar legend.
John 5 was one of those who were shocked after the devastating news of Van Halen’s loss and revealed his admiration to Eddie by stating that Van Halen was the ‘Superman’ according to him during a previous interview.
Furthermore, John 5 is also close with David Lee Roth due to the fact he was the guitarist of David Lee Roth until 1998. He revealed that he talked to Roth before Eddie Van Halen passed away about his health status which made it obvious that the three were close friends and the death of Van Halen was a wounding incident for them.
Recently, John 5 shared a post on his official Instagram page unveiling an unseen picture of David Lee Roth and Eddie Van Halen while they are smoking backstage all the way back in 2008 and stated that those were good times.
