Led Zeppelin‘s late drummer John Bonham’s son, Jason Bonham, shared the photos of the fake items related to his father and warned the fans to be careful about them. Also, former Van Halen vocalist Sammy Hagar also showed his reaction to the fraud.
The iconic drummer of Led Zeppelin, John Bonham, also known as Bonzo, sadly passed away on September 25, 1980, at the age of 32. After a heavy day of drinking at the rehearsals, Bonham was found unresponsive. His death was later announced to be caused by a shock from inhaling vomit with alcohol in his system.
Recently, John Bonham’s son Jason Bonham posted the photos of the fake items related to his dad and warned his fans to be careful about the online fraud. Jason stated that these items were presented by Jeff Ogletree who claimed to be his father’s drum tech, however, in fact, Mick Hinton was the drum tech of John Bonham.
On the caption of his post, Jason Bonham warned the fans about the fake items by stating:
“Please be warned of these items. This name has come upon many occasions, Jeff Ogletree. He claims to have been my father’s Drum Tech. This is false. Mick Hinton was my father’s tech.“
Furthermore, former Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar showed his support for Jason by reacting to the fraud with a comment on his Instagram post:
“Grrrrrrrr🤬 So many scams going on today in this world as if we need more lies and bullshit coming at us.“
