Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist who returned to the band last year, John Frusciante, spoke in a recent interview with Double J and revealed what they are doing nowadays with the band members.

In the conversation, John mentioned that they were doing rehearsals before the epidemic started and said that they took a break after the outbreak for a couple of months. Fortunately, they returned to play music together again.

According to the statement of John, it’s clear to say that Red Hot Chili Peppers is now working on new songs and possibly an album, even though the danger of the coronavirus.

Here is what John Frusciante said:

“We were rehearsing for a couple of months, then the quarantine started, and we stopped rehearsing for a couple of months, then we went back to rehearsing.

“We’re moving ahead with what we’re doing, writing new music.”

John also talked about his return to the band:

“It’s just returning to family. I’m extremely comfortable with those people.

It was as if no time had gone by at all when we started playing, pretty much, with a couple of minor exceptions – like how Chad and I gradually got our communication together in a new way.

Basically, we’re all just as comfortable with each other as we ever were, and it just felt like that right off the bat.”
