During an interview with Kerrang!, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis talked about the band’s upcoming shows and projects and revealed that they’ve finally finished writing up their new album, which highly excited the band’s fanbase.

As you know, Korn was formed in 1993, and its biggest legacy is pioneering the nu-metal genre and making it mainstream. The band’s thirteenth and latest album ‘The Nothing‘ was released in September 2019, and it debuted at No. 8 on the US Billboard 200 charts. Since then, fans have been excitedly waiting for a new Korn album.

During his recent interview with Kerrang!, Jonathan Davis announced that they have finally finished writing up the new record, and said that it has been ‘an act of God to bring everyone together, as they all live in different cities, and that all they need to do now is plan out the next steps. However, it seems like there’ll be a new Korn album soon.

Here’s what Jonathan Davis said during the interview:

We just got done writing a record! It’s like an act of God to get us all together to do anything. We have to plan that all out! I’m sure there are a bazillion other bands with new music to release, too. In the meantime, let’s just go out, play live and have some fun!”
