The Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter Kelly Osbourne took to her verified Instagram page today and mourned one of the most iconic figures of the TV history, Regis Philbin after he has died at 88.

After hearing the tragic death of Regis, Kelly has written a touching letter with sharing their photo that was taken when she was just 18-years-old, and she stated that Regis was not just a legend, he was the American TV all by himself.

Regis Philbin passed away last night of natural causes, just one month before celebrating his 89th birthday, he was also famous with his iconic voice acting performances like ‘Shrek The Third’ and ‘Cheaper by the Dozen.’

Here is what Kelly wrote after the sad loss of Regis Philbin:

“To say this man was a legend is simply not enough. Regis Philbin was American TV! It was a true honor to not only have known him but also to have had the opportunity to work with him. I will never forget how welcoming and kind he was to everyone.

He was the brightest light in the room. Rest In Peace #Regis.

(PS: I was about 18 in this pic I look god awful… WTF was I thinking?)”
