Megadeth guitarist Kiko Loureiro shared a vlog on his official YouTube account to show how the rehearsals are going.

After five years of absence, since 2016’s ‘Dystopia,’ Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine revealed that they will release a new record, named ‘The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead!

Furthermore, the band is also preparing to get back to the stage once again, as they had to put their concert ideas on hold following the coronavirus pandemic. Recently they started doing some rehearsals to get ready for their audience.

In the video, Kiko pointed out that the most challenging song for him right now is  ‘Hangar 18’ from the 1990’s ‘Rust In Peace’ record. As Kiko said, he confuses the solo parts most of the time, and he is working on it right now.

Additionally, not touring for a long time has made Kiko rusty as he also forgot one of the parts of ‘Poison Was The Cure.’ Then, Dave himself showed Kiko how he can play that part to make sure that the guitarist plays the riff correctly.

Kiko Loureiro on the hardest song:

“I’ve been working on uh, you know the ones that are the difficult for me the ‘Hangar 18.’ Yeah, all the solos… I was getting confused playing the second one instead of the first one. Now I think it’s good, it’s gonna be okay for the tour for sure.”

Then, Dave Mustaine showed the riffs to Kiko:

“Play like this… Today’s fun, yeah.”
