Speaking in an interview with CFOX, Kirk Hammett explained his favorite songs to play live from their latest album “Hardwired… To Self-Desctruct”. Here’s the statement:

“I really like playing ‘Halo on Fire.’ There’s just something about that song that just like… We established a mood really quickly, and it seems like the audience is with us every step of the way.

Because when we get to the chorus, the audience is singing the chorus with us. It’s cool. It’s a really cool, fun song to play on guitar as well.

It’s one of funner songs for me to play. But I also like ‘Hardwired,’ I like ‘Atlas Rise!’, I like playing ‘Moth Into Flame,’ I love all those songs. What can I say, they’re all great songs!”
