As you know, Metallica performed alongside Lady Gaga at the 58th Grammy Awards and played their new song “Moth Into Flame”. This performance sucked due to technical problems. Metallica fans were not happy with this collaboration.
After this perform, Lars Ulrich said they would be working together with Lady Gaga for the foreseeable future and stated that they wanted to go out together on the first occasion.
Later, James Hetfield explained his thoughts on this issue and stated that he don’t want to work with Lady Gaga in the future.
Recently, Kirk Hammett revealed his opinion collobration with Lady Gaga. He talked in an interview with Radio Rock and he said:
“When she showed up at that rehearsal, she knew her parts, she hit all the notes, she was very, very professional. And that impressed us because there’s beed situations where it’s been like that and we’ve been, ‘Ugh, how’s this gonna work? Should we just bail on it?’ But with Lady Gaga, the minute she walked in – it was really cool.
I don’t know what’s gonna happen in the future, I think it’s a bit of a stretch for us to say, ‘Yeah, we’re gonna do something in the future!‘ Maybe we will, maybe we won’t. But we kind of have a lot on our plate right now.“
