Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett is one of the most active Metallica members on social media. He’s sharing a lot of cool stuff on his pages. Recently, he has shared a Jimi Hendrix gif to show his current mood.

As you might remember, Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich announced that they decided to record a new album in a recent interview with Salesforce. He said that the new Metallica album will be made and recorded during the self-quarantine rules. They will use online chat applications for communication. That’s really insane idea.

Lead guitarist of Metallica, Kirk Hammett, gives a little hint about their upcoming album while sharing a mind-blowing Jimi Hendrix gif, in which Jimi is trying to play guitar with his teeth.

Back in April 2019, Kirk spoke in an interview with Mixdown and said that he has a ton of new material for the new Metallica album. Here’s what he said at that time:

“None of us are very comfortable with the fact it’s been so long because that’s a long time. We’re hoping to avoid that this time around.

We’re in our third year since Hardwired. Maybe we can get a bit more focus and go into the studio a bit sooner. I have a ton of material. I’ve over-compensated, so I’m ready to go anytime.”
