The lead guitarist of Metallica, Kirk Hammett, recently posted a photo from 2015 on his Instagram account and recalled the day he got together with Corey Taylor, John 5, and Slash who supported him on his new project.
As you know, Kirk Hammett is one of the most well-known guitarists of all time and he ranked Number 11 on Rolling Stone’s list of ‘The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.’ However, his guitar skills aren’t the only reason why Hammett is so famous as he’s also an entrepreneur.
In 2014, Kirk Hammett launched his new project, Fear Fest-Evil which was a huge success. His love for horror encouraged Hammett to organize a three-day horror convention which takes place each year in Chepstow, United Kingdom, on selected nights in October, including Halloween.
Fear Fest-Evil became an award-winning Horror Event soon after its launch and was visited by numerous celebrities, including rockstars such as late Corey Taylor, John 5, and Slash. In his recent Instagram post, Hammett cherished the days in which he had the chance to spend time with such legendary artists who supported him full-heartedly on his new endeavors.
Here’s what Kirk Hammett said in the caption of his recent Instagram post:
“And one from the way back machine… good times at #fearfestevil2015 with John 5, Corey Taylor, and Slash ⚡️🖤⚡️”
