KISS icon Gene Simmons’ wife, Shannon Tweed Simmons, posted a photo of herself and her husband on Instagram to celebrate the ‘Fourth of July’ but she had a few harsh words for the haters.
The legendary bass guitarist of KISS, Gene Simmons has been happily together with actress and model Shannon Tweed since 1983. The couple has two children, Nick Simmons and Sophie Simmons.
Recently on Instagram, Shannon posted a photo of herself posing with her husband in order to celebrate Independence Day as two immigrants. Gene is an Israeli-born American while Shannon is a Canadian. On the caption of her post, she mentioned they both appreciated being immigrants in the United States and also reminded her followers to wear masks.
Here’s what Shannon Simmons stated on the caption of her Instagram post:
“Happy 4th of July from two appreciative immigrants. Wear your mask for others.❤️“
However, later she received some hateful comments from some of her followers and Shannon slammed them by blocking and calling them ‘idiots’:
“Well, I never know how a benign Tweet is going to turn out. This time I only had to block three. Three people that had three followers each and were private accounts! What a surprise.
Too bad because three idiots like that make me not read my replies and I used to like reading it. Not because they agreed with me but because people used to be normal, even if they disagreed it was civil. Now it’s just nutty. If you don’t like what I have to say or anything I post please, please please unfollow me! It would be my pleasure not to have you.“
