KISS’ bassist Gene Simmons shared a post on his official Twitter page reacting to a fan’s statement which implied that Simmons should solely be concerned with his music, and apparently, Simmons did not like the disrespectful comment of the fan.
As many of you may know, Gene Simmons is quite an active social media user, especially on his official Twitter page on which he openly speaks his mind about political issues and somewhat controversial matters pretty often.
Recently, Simmons shared a post on his official Twitter page warning his fans in order to stress the importance of wearing a face mask. Since the coronavirus pandemic is far from over, he kindly and humorously asked for his fans to be cautious to be safe.
Here is what Simmons said in his tweet:
“Wear your masks. Even if it’s only as a courtesy. If you yawn or sneeze, you don’t think twice about covering your mouth. Do the rest of us a favor! Mask Up!. Besides, it looks cool”
Later on, a fan replied to Simmons’ tweet and stated that he should be focusing on his music rather than speaking his own mind and being occupied with other matters. Since that fan’s statement is beyond disrespectful, Gene Simmons simply answered that fan by simply saying ‘no.’
Here is what the fan said in his comment to Gene’s warning about wearing masks:
“Stick to music.”
Here is how Gene Simmons replied:
“No.“
