KISS icon Gene Simmons has shared a new post on his official Twitter account and showed his help to his followers in the self-quarantine days.

To do so, Gene shared KISS’ song named ‘We Are One,’ and stated that everybody can send home videos by using this song in the background. In this way, Gene wanted to support the fans in these tough times and revealed how kind-hearted he is.

Afterward, the fans questioned about this song and accused Gene of stealing the song. However, Gene was the writer and publisher of the song. He replied to the fans and ended this speculation with a harsh response.

Here is what Gene Simmons wrote in the first place:

“We Are One! Send me your home videos. Use ‘We Are One’ as the backing track. You can be serious or silly… It’s all good. Show us your life! Your family and what you’re doing in this crazy time. We Are One”

Gene replied to the fan claimed that he stole the song:

“…Um… I wrote and publish the song! Thought you’d like to know.”

Another fan named Violet replied:

“Haha that’s funny. You stole your own song!”

Gene Simmons replied:

“If a song or something is yours, hook line and sinker, you’re not stealing. You can do whatever you want with it. Because… It’s yours. See?… Or did I miss the humor.”
