Gene Simmons, the bassist and co-founder of KISS, has reacted to the people who still defend that the COVID-19, which claimed over a million lives and crushed the global economy, is only a hoax while describing this ongoing tragedy as ‘denial porn.’

One of the most interactive rock and roll musicians on social media platforms, Gene Simmons, has recently tried to raise awareness about coronavirus on Twitter by retweeting some really interesting and crucial news displaying the seriousness of the deadly virus.

Simmons has shared the virus-related updates one after another from several sources including ABC News, Popular Science, AP News, and USA Today. In all of them, the scarry rates of deaths and infected people were put forth along with the important explanations about the ways of precaution.

In the shocking news of USA Today, it was stated that Jodi Doering, a South Dakota nurse, says some COVID-19 patients die in denial. The source said that South Dakota’s high rates of coronavirus and low virus regulation have sparked criticism since some of the patients are dying from the virus even though they don’t believe it poses a real threat.

According to the source, the nurse, who has gained national attention for her account of working on the front lines in a state where leaders have minimized the impact of the virus, says that she recalls numerous patients whose dying words echoed the same theme of denial and stubbornness.

One of Gene’s followers, who has apparently the same state of mind as those dying patients mentioned in the article, commented on his tweet and said that it’s only fear porn initiated by these sources.

Simmons has immediately responded to his fan and slammed him by using his way. Gene reverted the ‘fear porn’ claim of the user into what it should’ve been in the first place, ‘denial porn.’

Here’s what Gene Simmons said while retweeting the USA Today’s news:

“South Dakota nurse says some COVID-19 patients die in denial.”

A fan of Gene commented as:

“Fear porn.”

Simmons reacted to him by saying:

“Denial porn.”
