It has been almost two weeks since Gene Simmons’ mother Flora Klein passed away from natural causes. She was 93 years old.
Today, KISS bassist Gene Simmons has shared an heartbreaking post in honour of his mother and even all other mothers.
Gene wrote:
“While you are all busy going to stores and buying gifts. Don’t forget the biggest gift you ever got: your Mother. It’s never too early to run over, wrap your arms around your mother and tell her you love her. Do it now, before it’s too late.”
A fan responded:
“I understand what you mean. I lost my Mother years before she passed. She was an Alcoholic and then got Alzheimer’s and she died at 48. It was 28 years ago. I miss her very much.”
Other fan said:
“This is an excellent reminder, Gene. I lost my father this past March. I would give anything to hug him Christmas”
Two weeks ago, Gene Simmons has expressed his feelings about death of his mother and said:
“I lost my Mother. My Mentor. My moral compass. And I am heartbroken. 🙁 My Mother, Flora Klein passed away at 93 years of age. No illnes. No pain. She simply quietly, went to sleep.
My Mother will always be in my thoughts and in my heart. Today. And Forever.
And I would urge all of you, to run over, put your arms around your mother, kiss her and tell her how much you love her. Do this every day!”
