The iconic frontman of KISS and quite active social media user these days, Paul Stanley, posted yet another tweet on his official Twitter account and mourned one of the most legendary soul stars ever, Betty Wright, who passed away yesterday.
Betty was one of the most talented songwriters of the whole time, and she also wrote many classics of Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, and Michael Jackson. Unfortunately, she has passed away from this world at the age of 66. The cause of that not yet announced right now.
As Paul Stanley calls Betty as an R&B legend, he indicated that the young generation has to ecolodge her music.
Here is what Paul wrote on the tweet he shared:
“RIP Betty Wright. An R&B legend. I loved your singing and songs over the decades. So many more should know your work but those who do won’t forget you.”
A Twitter user named Lusiana commented on that sad news:
“RIP Betty Wright 😔🎙🎶 In more than four decades, Wright has placed 20 songs in the Billboard Top 40 ranking in the R&B genre, including ‘No Pain No Gain’, ‘Tonight is the Night’ and ‘Baby’, 2007.
Throughout his career, she toured between the genres soul, disco, and funk. 🙏🏻⭐️❤️”
