The former drummer of KISS, Peter Criss, has posted a new tweet on the Twitter account, paying tribute Rush drummer Neil Peart, and revealed how he was devastated after his unexpected death.
It was announced that Neil Peart died at the age of 67 in California on Tuesday. The spokesman of the band, Elliot Mintz, said Peart had died of brain cancer after a three-year battle with glioblastoma.
After the death of the iconic drummer, Peter Criss took to social media to pay tribute Neil Peart. He has revealed a photo with Peart from the youth days, blessing him.
Here’s what Peter Criss wrote:
“R.I.P. Neil. A true legend. Your music will live on forever. God bless. #neilpeart”
Also, Criss revealed how he was devasted after Neil’s death on his website. He stated:
“It is so devastating to say these words… I am so deeply saddened by the death of one of my brother drummers and dear friend. Neil was a hero to all of us drummers. He was a great man and a great musician.
My heart goes out to Alex and Geddy for their loss and all the family, friends, and fans . May he rest in peace and be met by the lord in heaven. God Bless, Peter Criss”
