In a recent Twitter post, the rhythm guitarist and vocalist of KISS, Paul Stanley, has shared his feelings after the tragic death of Rush drummer Neil Peart.
For years, Rush’s drummer and songwriter Neal Peart was fighting against brain cancer, on 7th January 2020, he passed away because of this horrible disease.
Later on, Paul Stanley saw this news and he felt so heartbroken. According to him, he was shocked and upset because of this devastating news. Therefore, Paul shared his feelings via his official Twitter account.
Here is what Paul Stanley said:
“Absolutely Horrible News. Neal Peart has died after fighting brain cancer for years. His later life was filled with so much family tragedy. So, so sad. I’m just shocked”
A fan named Leticia Castro replied:
“It’s devastating news, but at least he’s not hurting anymore. When cancer took my father, all we could ask for was for him to be free. In fact, these were my last words to him: “you’re free, dad”. It’s one of the heaviest experiences you can go through. Rip, Neil!”
Another fan named Lori Mullins said:
“CANCER SUCKS!!! Neil was such a badass drummer. Saw Rush in concert five times, and they were awesome! My condolences to Neil’s family as well as Alex and Geddy. RIP Neil..”
