KISS’ co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Paul Stanley, recently posted a tweet on his Twitter account and announced the release of his latest song with the R&B and Soul music project that he started a few years ago.
Stanley is without a doubt one of the most famous rockstars of all time and aside from his successful career with KISS, he’s known as a best-selling author and a visionary who has initiated numerous successful projects, such as Soul Station. A few years ago, he founded a project that he holds very close to his heart with which he wishes to pay tribute to great musicians and keep their music current.
Soul Station is a band which gathers some of today’s most famous musicians to cover well-known R&B and Soul songs which have contributed to the improvement of his career as a rockstar. The 15–piece ensemble band has toured in the United States and Japan, and both critics and fans have highly appreciated their performances.
Soul Station recently recorded an album covering nine unforgettable soul songs and five new original songs. The album ‘NOW AND THEN‘ will be released on March 5 and is currently available for pre-order, but prior to its release, Paul Stanley apparently wanted to give a taste of what they have been working on.
In his recent tweet, Paul Stanley said that their first single ‘O-O-H Child‘ by The Five Stairsteps is now available on Deezer and other streaming platforms. His tweet about Soul Station’s new song received numerous comments all of which applauded Stanley for bringing this song back to their lives and doing such an amazing job with his new band.
Here’s what Paul Stanley said in his recent tweet:
“Out now! Listen to my new track ‘O-O-H Child’ on my Paul Stanley account on Deezer.”
This is what a follower said upon listening to Soul Station’s new song:
“Really outstanding cover. Even better than anybody who has touched that song for a very long time.”
