On Instagram, Korn‘s legendary guitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch posted a photo of himself wearing a mask while wandering in nature which questioned by the fans since he was known for devoting his life and music to Christianity but chose to be protected by the mask.

As you may know, the founding member and the guitarist of Korn, Brian Welch struggled with substance abuse for a long time. However, 15 years ago, Welch found relief from his addiction through his newfound relationship with Jesus Christ.

Previously, Brian Welch explained how his new faith changed his point of view in life by stating:

“In 2005, I found healing after years of struggling with addiction, depression, and suicidal ideation. I consider myself extremely blessed to have been made whole — body, mind and spirit — and I’ve devoted my life to help others find the healing they deserve.”

After he started to work on his relationship with Christianity, Brian quitted the band in 2005 and focued on his daughter and his new faith. However, later in 2013, Welch rejoined Korn and recorded his first album with the band in ten years, ‘The Paradigm Shift.’

Recently on Instagram, Head posted a photo of himself wearing a black mask while wandering in nature during his trip to the Apple Hill Farm in Banner Elk, North Carolina. In the comment section of his post, the fans started a discussion about whether he should wear a mask or not.

A fan claimed that he didn’t need to wear a mask since he trusted God to protect him from any disease that could harm him. However, the fan’s claims were not supported by many of Brian’s followers who suggested he was being a good example for those refuse to wear masks in public. On the other hand, some of the fans stated that since he was in outdoors, he didn’t have to wear a mask which was used as a part of the ‘fear propaganda‘ by the governments. Brian chose to remain silent and didn’t reveal his personal opinion about whether he had to wear a mask or not.
