On a recent Instagram post, Korn guitarist and co-founder of the band, Munky, uploaded a picture of his late stepmother, Joan, and wrote a touching message dedicated to her.
Recently, Korn’s Munky shared a photo of his deceased stepmother, Joan, in honor of her birthday whom he described as a true angel. In the caption of his post, Munky mentioned that Joan adopted him when he was three years old and explained what a great mother she was.
While celebrating this special day without having Joan with him, Munky also shared his love for Joan and said that he is missing her every single day.
In the picture attached below, you can see that Joan was smiling towards the camera and looking so happy while hugging her sister. Also, Munky’s bandmate Brian Head Welch shared his empathy with him in the comment section mentioning he also misses this special woman.
Here is what Munky wrote in his emotional letter to his late mother:
“Happy Birthday to my mother, Joan! I miss her every single day! She was a true angel!
She adopted me when I was 3-4 days old…
I love you, mom. ❤️ (She’s on the right of the photo, with my aunt Pat on the left, another angel!) they were sisters and inseparable best friends to the end.”
