Korn guitarist James Christian Shaffer, also known as ‘Munky,’ posted his black and white photos on Instagram along with a statement of the spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle regarding the connection between anxiety and the conception of time.

German spiritual teacher and best-selling author Eckhart Tolle published several books related to spiritual healing, such as ‘The Power of Now.’ Suffering from depression until he was 29 years old, Tolle experienced an inner transformation that led him to become a spiritual teacher.

Recently on Instagram, James Shaffer posted his black and white photos which received the appreciation of the fans due to his handsome look at the age of 50. On the caption of his post, Korn’s Munky shared a quote from Eckart Tolle regarding the misconception of time and its effect on people’s psychology.

Here’s what Munky stated on the caption of his recent post:

“All negativity is caused by an accumulation of psychological time and denial of the present. Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry – all forms of fear – are caused by too much future, and not enough presence.

Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness, bitterness, and all forms of non-forgiveness are caused by too much past, and not enough presence.- Eckhart Tolle

In the comment section of his post, Munky’s fans appreciated his gesture of drawing attention to mental health and also reacted to the post by sharing their stories of depression. Moreover, some of the fans claimed that Munky looked so similar to Audioslave’s late singer Chris Cornell.
