Nirvana legend Kurt Cobain’s daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, showed her support to the trans black people by sharing a post on her official Instagram account and stood against racism.

In the post, Frances wrote that everybody should donate if they can to help the trans black people. She stated that these funds will be using for resources, medical care, therapist, and bail for the protestors.

Here is the post that Frances Bean Cobain shared:

“Firstly, if you’re able to donate, you MUST. The @bftacollective have set up the Black Trans Protestors Emergency Fund in partnership with @forthegworls @theokraproject & @blacktranstravelfund.

This fund will be used to support black trans protestors with resources, medical care and bail. The link is in my bio to donate if you are able and you can check out the pages of the organizations in my caption below.”

She continued:

“You can also donate to the Nina Pop Mental Health Recovery Fund and the Tony McDade Mental Health Recovery Fund. These 2 funds were set up in the name of 2 black trans people, Nina Pop & Tony McDade, whose lives were lost to police brutality.

Both of these recovery funds are raising money to provide black trans people sessions with a licensed black therapist, free of cost. The links to donate to these funds are on my story. I’ve also included a link to a tweet on my story with many other ways you can donate to help the black trans community.”
