Kurt Cobain’s widow and the former star of Hole, Courtney Love, shared a bunch of new photos of what she’s reading these days and admitted that her politics comes from herself, not the place he was raised.

You will check out the caption of Courtney right below that she also responded to the harsh people who call her fans as dummy people and her as an ignorant.

Courtney Love family members did not leave their idol alone and almost 10K people pushed the like button of the post.

Here is what Courtney wrote:

“I didn’t go to school much and was raised by liberal elites in California / Oregon whose politics I found oppressive. My politics are from my own thinking. No one ever accused me, or my fans of being dumb. ♥️

A handy thing punk rock taught me to do was to read my way into an informed opinion. Here is my Amazon cart 🛒 (I prefer hardbacks over kindle) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And a nice portrait of William Wilberforce, the abolitionist, from the National Portrait Gallery.

I find that I’m ignorant on the subject of racism in ways that are arrogant & oppressive to black people. I’m eradicating this. I look around and see that most of my white friends and colleagues share this trait.”

She continued:

“A sort of smugness that varies in tone from a knowing, patronizing “ but you know I’m not racist right? It makes me sick. I’m so sorry.

I found a good podcast from Yale on slavery and listened to a few episodes, somehow the subject of slavery and our willful ignorance of it, its stain on our national character, keeps coming up at the root of this.”
