In a recent interview with Full Metal Jackie, Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton has shared new informations about possible upcoming album. He said:

“Lamb of God is in full swing, for sure. We are currently working on new material that I’m thrilled about. I just had some sessions with Willie [Adler, guitar], putting together new songs. There’s a really cool energy going on with the new stuff.

So Lamb of God is full throttle. We’ve got shows coming together — I think we’ve already announced some of them for this year — and more to come. And lots of new material coming together. So, yeah, they’ll be no shortage of LAMB OF GOD this year, for sure.”

Four days ago, Mark Morton admitted a surprising fact about late Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington in a recent interview with Ultimate-Guitar. He said:

“Well, I don’t know, I don’t think you can plan those kinds of things, I think they just happen. That kind of rhythm and dynamic and creative dialogue, I don’t know how you can plan for that.

I didn’t really know Chester before we started working on the tune. We corresponded a little bit and talked a little bit, but I really didn’t know him until we got in a room and really started tearing that song apart. We were trying each other’s ideas and we had real chemistry.”
