Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton and vocalist Randy Blythe were recently interviewed by ‘The Eddie Trunk Podcast’ and talked about band’s upcoming tour with Megadeth, their upcoming record and one of the most legendary late stars of this era, Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington.

As you might already familiar with the discussion that what was the Chester Bennington’s latest ever recorded track. Mark Morton revealed if their collaboration on the ‘Cross Off’ track was Chester’s last vocal ever.

Here is what Morton said:

“People ask me that a lot. I don’t know for certain because I don’t know if he and Mike [Shinoda] have been working on more stuff after Chester was in with Josh [Wilbur, producer] and me to do ‘Cross Off.’

I never talked to those guys about that, I don’t know, and I don’t know the timeline of his Gray Daze stuff either, but I do know that it was certainly one of the last – if it wasn’t the last.”

He continued:

“And I don’t know if anyone had any idea that that would be the case when we were tracking it. When we were writing and recording that song, it was really good memories, a really positive, upbeat vibe, really creative, inspired vibe, and I look back at it really, really fondly.

I’m really lucky to have gotten a chance to work with that guy, he was a special cat for sure.”
