In a recent interview for The Howard Stern Show, Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich talked about the live performance of the band with the pop star Lady Gaga at the 2017 Grammy Awards and revealed her favorite Metallica song.
As you might remember, in 2017, Metallica and the pop music icon Lady Gaga performed ‘Moth Into Flame‘ from Metallica’s ‘Hardwired… to Self-Destruct‘ album at the Grammy Awards show.
During the show, Metallica frontman James Hetfield’s microphone was switched off and he had to share the mic with Lady Gaga. Regardless of the technical errors, the two presented an unforgettable live show in front of the fans around the world.
Recently, the members of Metallica joined an interview for The Howard Stern Show on Youtube and talked about their performance at the 2017 Grammy Awards. During the conversation, the iconic drummer of the band Lars Ulrich revealed a conversation he had with Lady Gaga.
Apparently, the talented pop star told Lars Ulrich that she had been a fan of metal music throughout her life and revealed her favorite Metallica song was actually ‘Metal Militia‘ from the band’s 1983 album ‘Kill ‘Em All.’
“She loves metal. She was telling me that ‘Metal Militia,’ which is this deep cut on our first album, ‘Kill ‘Em All,’ was her favorite song back in the day.”
