Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page celebrated the 1M followers milestone on Instagram by sharing a new post and revealed his reaction to this phenomenal day.

As you might remember, Jimmy is really really an active person on social media and has been doing ‘On This Day’ sessions to tell about his memories and feelings from the events that happened in the past.

Following the success of these sessions, Jimmy’s official Instagram account started to grow really fast and yesterday, he reached 1M followers finally. Because of that, Jimmy wanted to celebrate this special day with his followers.

Jimmy thanked the people who supported his journey and stated that it was so wonderful to be able to connect with these people and share his golden-worth memories with them while being able to see their positive feedbacks.

Also, Jimmy expressed his gratitude to the fans and proved that he can keep up with the young generation especially on social media, even though he is 76 years old. In this way, Jimmy showed how a legendary person he is once again.

Here is what Jimmy Page captioned:

“Thanks a million to you all for joining me on my On This Day journey on Instagram. ⁣

From exploring the Souks of Morocco and Pyramids of Giza, to describing the electrifying intensity of recording each album and performing sell-out shows, it’s wonderful to be able to connect with you like this and to see your kind words. Your enthusiastic comments each day are a great addition to each memory that I share with you.⁣

The On This Day series has been spotlighted on my website since its launch in July 2011, taking a few years of collaborative research and planning to assemble and display. For a special, digital glimpse backstage, here’s a photo or two to show you my work diaries and handwritten entries for each daily post.⁣

Thank you all once again and keep rocking!”
