Led Zeppelin’s legendary guitarist Jimmy Page, posted a new Instagram photo from their London’s Earl Court in 1975 and shared yet another ‘On This Day’ story with his followers.
Jimmy Page also indicated that that was the last show they would play in the United Kingdom.
Here is the whole story:
“@LedZeppelin had last played in the UK at five concerts at London’s Earl’s Court in May of 1975. In August 1979 we played a festival over two weekends at Knebworth.
Today marks the show on the second weekend, this proved to be the last show we would play in the UK. These concerts coincided with the release of our final studio album ‘In Through The Out Door’ and material from this is featured in the show. The set reflected the band’s recording history up to that time.
