The iconic guitarist of Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Page, made another ‘on this day’ session by sharing a new post on his official Instagram account and recalled the day he was playing in Italy.

Jimmy praised the British blues/jazz legend Georgie Fame’s skill by saying that he was really impressed by his rendition while he was performing Mose Allison’s Parchman Farm with Hammond organ.

In this way, Jimmy showed his admiration to another legend and proved that Georgia is one of his kind. While we are writing about this moment of Jimmy, his post reached around 20K likes less than twelve hours.

Here is what Jimmy Page wrote:

On this day in 1984, I played at the Alexis Korner Blues Tribute at La Piazza del Duomo di Pistoia. It was an established yearly festival held in the town square.⁣

I was impressed by Georgie Fame’s rendition of Mose Allison’s Parchman Farm where he sang and played Hammond organ as a solo spot. After the festival Ginger Baker, who had also been appearing, invited us for supper at his local home where he had a fine orchard of olive trees.⁣”
