Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has shared a rare photo with John Bonham, who is the drummer of the band, on his official Instagram account and revealed an untold story in which Bonham is playing acoustic guitar.

As you can see in the picture below, John and Jimmy were both playing guitar and showing their talent in legendary musician Roy Harper’s special concert for Valentine’s Day at Finsbury Park in 1974.

After one day, Jimmy’s post reached over 22.000 likes and the fans headed to comment section to share their reactions.

Here is what Jimmy Page wrote:

“Happy Valentine’s day! On this day in 1974, I joined Roy Harper at the Valentine concert in Finsbury Park, London.⠀

Roy Harper’s Valentine concert was at the Rainbow Theatre in Finsbury Park in 1974 and I joined him on this memorable gig. During the acoustic part of this set, I played ‘Male Chauvinist Pig Blues’ and then both Roy and I switched to electric when we played ‘Too Many Movies’ and ‘Home’ with the classic rhythm section of Keith Moon on drums and Ronnie Lane on bass. We rehearsed earlier that afternoon.”

Jimmy added:

“Roy had an award made for that evening: ‘The Harpic Award’ for the contributing musicians. John Bonham became the MC and they were duly distributed. Harpic was an affectionate name for Roy.”

A fan named Richard asked a really good question:

“Not mentioned in your notes. Is that John Bonzo Bonham on acoustic guitar???”

Another fan named Martin added this comment:

“Would love to know more how your found it with Keith Moon on drums compared to John Bonham. Their different styles from your perspective. 🥁”
