The legendary guitarist and founder of Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Page has recalled the times when he was guested with Aerosmith at ‘Monsters Of Rock Festival’ and disclosed a unique thing Steven Tyler did for him.

Recently, Page has shared a lesser-known memory of him about the rock band Aerosmith and its iconic frontman Steven Tyler. Jimmy has posted some pictures taken when he and Aerosmith took part in the ‘Monsters Of Rock Festival‘, which was an annual hard rock and heavy metal music event held in Castle Donington, England, in 1990.

Jimmy Page revealed the fact that he traveled by the band on their tour bus to and from the show. Had a lot of fun and made great conversations about music during the journey with the band members, Page said that, at one point, Steven Tyler played him the current Red Hot Chili Peppers album.

The iconic guitarist Page added that whenever he guested with Aerosmith they would always play ‘Train Kept A Rollin’‘ since they had a history with that song. He also said that he played on the most popular Aerosmith song, ‘Walk This Way,‘ as well.

Here is what Jimmy Page said in his recent Instagram post:

“On this day in 1990, I guested with Aerosmith at Donington at the Monsters Of Rock Festival.⁣

I traveled with Aerosmith in their tour bus to and from the show. All of the time on the bus was spent chatting and exchanging stories and at one point Steven Tyler played me the current Red Hot Chili Peppers album and there were much enthusiasm and discussion about music on that journey.⁣

Whenever I guested with Aerosmith we would always play ‘Train Kept A Rollin’’ because we all had a history with that song. I played on ‘Walk This Way’ as well!⁣⁣”
