Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page shared a recent photo on his verified Instagram page and revealed a really rare Yardbirds memorabilia from 1968.

Here is Jimmy’s statement about it:

“#OnThisDay in 1968, I played Detroit with The Yardbirds.
The first of two nights at the famous Grande Ballroom in Detroit – an established underground venue – and the Yardbirds show was promoted with this image. ⠀⠀
The photo was taken by Chris Dreja.

A user named b_tedds commented:

“We have our tickets!! See you in July! Tinley Park, IL. This will be our 3rd Halestorm show and I’m super excited to finally see Alice!”

Another user named suzeq221 wrote that:

“How ironic… The founder of the Grande Ballroom, Russ Gibbs passed away on Tuesday. Detroiters, including myself not only mourn his loss but the loss of an iconic venue in music history. While it’s been closed for decades, it recently earned National Register of Historic Places designation and a structural integrity inspection revealed it could be restored! Any takers out there?”
