On his official Instagram account, Led Zeppelin legend Jimmy Page shared an old picture of his previous band, The Yardbirds, from the last show in Los Angeles when all the band members were together.

The British rock band, The Yardbirds was known for its inventive style combining rhythm and blues with rock music. Additionally, the band had a reputation for starting the careers of three famous guitarists of all time, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, and Jeff Beck.

The co-founder and the guitarist of Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Page started his first band experience with The Yardbirds. Jimmy took place in the band after Eric Clapton left in 1965. The band played their final shows at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles in 1968.

On a recent Instagram post, Jimmy Page shared a photo of The Yardbirds from one of their last shows in Los Angeles and remembered the good old days with his talented friends.

Here’s what Jimmy wrote on the caption of his Instagram post:

On this day in 1968, I had my last rave-up in LA with The Yardbirds. ⁣⁣
This was the last time the four live Yardbirds would play Los Angeles. The intrepid warriors played the Shrine Auditorium on this day in 1968.

This was not the last date of the US tour, we had two more dates, both at The Montgomery International Speedway in Alabama before the curtains would close on this incarnation of The Yardbirds in the USA.
