The iconic musician of Led Zeppelin, Robert Plant recently released his latest Digging Deep podcast and gave little clues about possible upcoming Led Zeppelin album.

Back in 2007, Robert Plant released his latest studio album named Raising Sand with Alison Krauss. Plant reveals if he has any desire to record a new album in the future.

Here is his statement, transcribed by Ultimate-Guitar:

In truth, that night before the last gig when I saw Alison, she said, ‘What are we gonna do?’, and I said, ‘Well, I don’t know, I just happen to have about 25 songs like those songs that have been collected, but you take too long.’

I mean, we got to hit this so hard if we’re ready to do something like that, and likewise, with the kind of honey dripper element of old, beautiful music, but not coming from the same zone, a different zone, it’s absolutely a different complexion in every respect…

I like the idea of invention from absolutely nothing. You walk in, make a cup of coffee, and go, ‘What are you thinking about?’. I hear a very, very big snare drum with a decay that turns into laughter at the end of the decay, of reverb, and then it become s a laugh.

We’ve used that before actually way back. So, yes, the temptation is great, but who knows?”
