Linkin Park co-founder and singer Mike Shinoda shared a recent Instagram post and revealed an interesting fact about his fans.

Shinoda said that Linkin Park fans on Twitter wanted change their name and profile photo to make an April Fool’s Day prank, but they banned by Twitter because they’ve been considered as fake accounts.

Here is what he wrote:

“For April Fools’ Day, fans decided to change their name and profile picture to mine 😂 That was funny, until Twitter started banning accounts for impersonation 😂 You guys are so lucky to have @heydudeimadam, who contacted Twitter directly and got your accounts restored 😂❤️”
