On a recent Instagram post, late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington’s sister, Tobi Bennington, broke her social media silence and explained why she wasn’t posting a single photo on social media.

In the caption of the post, Tobi announced that she was diagnosed with COVID-19 almost a month ago, and trying to heal up against this severe disease. For a month, the Bennington family was devastated by this news.

Fortunately, Tobi stated that she is currently better and won her fight against coronavirus. Tobi said that she felt terrible for weeks, but she is feeling great right now. With this news, she relieved the fans and her family.

Here is what Tobi Bennington wrote:

“Wow! It’s so great to feel like myself again! I’ve been out of commission for nearly four weeks… Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with having Covid19.

It’s been a terrible few weeks!! When I went outside yesterday I was so surprised to see that my Bleeding Hearts has bloomed! Such a wonderful gift from Mother Nature! I hope you all are staying safe and healthy. Much love and tenderness for each of you.”

A fan named Katinka added this comment:

“I wondered that you are so quiet here. Covid19 is really terrible. I hope you and your family are fine. Please take care and stay healthy.”

Another fan named Linda said:

“Glad your feeling better. A very scary time for everyone. 😃”
